The Minnesota Timberwolves gave 600 season ticket members exclusive access to Prince’s Paisley Park residence and recording studio, treated them to a private concert and offered them the chance to interact with the roster during an event that unveiled the team’s 2018-19 Nike City Edition Jersey.

That promotion netted the organization the “Event of the Year Award” at the NBA Revenue and Analytics meeting this week in Las Vegas. The award is given to the best sales and member event executed each season.
