Paul Charchian, founder of Fanball.com and LeagueSafe.com, has launched another new fantasy football-related website: GuillotineLeagues.com.

A guillotine league starts with 17 teams. Each week the low scoring team is eliminated from the league and that owner’s roster of players become free agents. Charchian, a member of the Fantasy Football Hall of Fame and host of KFAN’s Fantasy Football Weekly show/podcast, conducted a trial last season with 3,000 guillotine league players and 99 percent said they’d play again, he says.

“Nothing I’ve developed has equaled the response to guillotine leagues,” Charchian wrote on Twitter. “Nothing.”

The new site offers public contest leagues for those who don’t know 16 others who would like to join, private league administration, strategy advice, cheat sheets specifically for the format and a new podcast called “CHOP: The Guillotine League Podcast.”

“I’ve never been so excited for a new venture,” he says.
